My best 5k is 29.27.  

Short-Term Running Goals:

Beat my best 5k time.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would like to stay fit. I have 6 kids and I want to be physically able to keep up with them. I would eventually like to run some longer races and maybe do a triathalon.

Personal:

I am very happily married, We have 6 children. 4 girls and then we adopted two boy's. They are 17mths, 4,4,4,7 and 11.

Ran around the track at the legacy center and then I did a Zumba class.  I am loving zumba any of you women who have not taken a class you should give it a try.

I taught a leg stength class today and then I went to the gym, I had a really good run finished my first 3 miles in 29 minutes and then slowed down.  i did half mile on the elliptical and then I rode the bike.  I did a ton of abs today also.

Tried running but my allergies were so bad I could not breath. I need to get my inhalor.  I have never had my chest get that tight before, it kind of scared me.

Got up and walked the 2 mile loop again. I have been coughing ever since. I am getting my inhalor tonight, (yeh)  I am going to go to my zumba class tonight also.

Started out having a really hard time breathing,  so I walked for a few minutes coughed alot and then started to run again, I was able to get my breathing under control and had a really good run.

Ran running with angles 5k. 29:00 I was ticked because I was in the back of the crowd and I had a really hard time getting around everyone in the start. It probley would have taken a full minute off my time.

My goal was to beat last year and I did and I am uninjured and feel great.

I had alot of ankle pain again last night, so I took it easy today and then went to a specialist for my ankle issues.  never in a million years would have guess, because I have been running on it for a couple of months with this pain.  It is broke.   I was begining to think the pain was all in my head because I could see the swelling all the time.  I thought  break would have been alot more painful. Glad I got it checked out.
